General personal Spanish Tax

Hi there, I have just come across this Message Board communication, and thought I would introduce myself, and add some input.  Firstly, I have just returned from visiting the complex and it really is looking great.  I managed to get into my penthouse apartment, and believe me I was so overjoyed, the views were stunning!!!  I know that Afois are not the best people to do business with, but I truely think we will all be a winner at the end of the day, because the site is really beginning to take shape and look good, and I can honestly say that I couldn't have picked a better location to have a Place in the Sun.

Glad to hear you are pleased - which block is your penthouse in?

I am in Margarita, so hopefully the views from there will be ok too?

Just returned from visiting the complex, and had the opporunity to wander around at leasure and view several apartment blocks. I managed to measure my apartment and found that the measurements and layout were pretty similar in all the apartments which I viewed, although some are without serving hatches.  Some apartments are really beginning to take shape, especially the ones that have the windows fitted and the lovely grey marble floors, white doors, classy wardrobe finishings, lovely tiles in the kitchen (white, with fruit centre border) and high quality kitchen appliances and units (by the way, there is room made available in the kitchen for a dish washer, if anyone is interested!) I was very impressed at the high standard.   I think the views were magical from all the apartments which i managed to nose around at, so I guess 'all in all'  that no-one is going to be disappointed after our very very long wait.....

Thanks for that update - it is nice to get some positive news abou the development at last!

Any news on the expected completion date and did you manage to get any photo's you could share with us?

Sorry didn't take my camera when we went onto the site, really did not expect to be allowed up there, just took a chance, it was the celebration of the Three Wise Men (Epiphany), and the Security Guard must have been full of the Christmas spirit, cos he kindly allowed our car through.  I really wised I have taken my camera or camcorder but we honestly thought we would be turned away.  Never mind, everyone will get the opportunity very soon, my guess is that completion will be September/October '07.  They are really moving fast now, and two blocks which I viewed are actually fully completed inside and out, but we must wait for the remaining blocks to be completed before the 'hand over' of keys. I will attempt to visit the site again in April, and I promise that I will have my camera with me (let's hope the Guard is still full of good cheer and allows me access again!!)

Any tips on getting past the gate keeper, or is it just luck on the day?

We are going out at the end of Feb and hope to get some pics

Unfortunately it is just pure luck on the day you attempt to go onto the site.  Just smile sweetly at the Guard, and hope he is in a good mood.  I did give him some euros for his kindness, so hopefully he will think kindly of the Brits and allow you access.  Good Luck!

hi does anyone know if they have started all the blocks and if resales have started at what is the price now?
