Well, what a civilised meeting we had on Thursday! Everything went really smoothly, everyone seemed to agree on everything and it looks like finally we're on the move "as a community".
The new budget was approved, totalling 50,000 Euros of the year.
Ammex screwed up with the the community fees that they charged in July so we have all underpaid. We paid last year's reduced rate instead of this year's "normal" rate. Therefore we need to make two payment this quarter, the arrears from last quarter and also the actual amount for this quarter. It will be taken in two stages. This month we will have to pay the "normal" fee for this year and then next month the arrears for next quarter. Everyone will get details of this next week.
We have also agreed to change the garage doors (it was a majority vote). It means that everyone who has a parking space will have to contribute a one-off payment of 200 Euros so that we can have them replaced. The developer is not budging on the issue of the doors so this is our only solution to get this sorted.
We are taking on a maintenance guy, starting monday, who will look after day to day issues, the pool, the gardens, garage cleaning, etc. We really need this.
Regarding the debtors, this will be passed onto a lawyer to retrieve oustanding costs within the next 4 weeks.
