Buying at Jardines or Las Isla

Hi,

We are a young family of 2 adults and 2 children and have been looking for a holiday home in spain for the past couple of months.

We like the look of CDA and would appreciate any feedback from holiday home owners who have bought in this resort. Was it a good decision? What are the pros and cons for the resort? is it family friendly?

In addition we are currently torn between a 2 bed apartment on the jardines or the same on las islas. Again we would appreciate any thoughts about the better of the two locations?

Jardines if you have kids!

Only 2 pools on the whole of La isla and further away from kids club etc depending on which Jardine your looking at!

We looked at Las Isla in 2013 and didnt like the auditorium feel to it - the echo is quite something ...... also it only has two pools.

Not enough outside space in Las Isla and no room on the roof terrace for sunbathing - what with all the solar panels........Personally I also found the kitchen in Las Isla FAR TOO SMALL!!

We bought a 2 bed with roof terrace on Jardin 8 in the finish and love it, love it, love it!

If you don't mind me asking why did you choose CDA over other resorts such as La Torre or Riquelme? 

We have looked round a few but just wanted to get other opinions.

We bought last year on naranjos 3 and love we got a 3 bedroomed ground floor so the kids could play in the garden the place is so friendly and safe our 2 13 year olds get on there bikes and we don't see them until teatime and we know there safe and our 20 month old just runs around the playground a great place for family's. I would rent out a place on Condado and see for yourselves I'm sure you'll love it. Go see Julio at blue med invest for great deals on apartments there . We are on La Isla (we have a child) and we love it. Yes, there are only 2 pools but the apartment to pool ration is actually better than  some Jardines (my relatives are on jardines and we counted apartments in their garden )

The pools here are quiet (even in Summer) as seems to quite a lot of older/golf people so less people sat round the pool all day. 

We are ground floor and have a large garden and terrace. Kitchen is small but perfectly adequate and large living room and  fab view makes up for it ! 

No doubt people will disagree - but we love La Isla and prefer it to the jardines (many years of holidays on jardines prior to purchase of La  Isla  

Each to their own but we love it and you will love CDA, it's a great place!

Hi there. Would be interested to see what your thoughts are once you e been over. I've been to the resort for golf and I'm now tempted with the apartments on la Isla. Just a bit concerns about mozzie activity with it being closer to the lake and also I do have a very indendent 8 year old who likes to get out and about, so want to ensure there is plenty of space for us to explore. 

1. just to let you know re pricing, jardines are going for about 57k euros 2 bed and 70-75 k for a 3 bed, dont forget to add 10% for taxes etc.
