Driving (not off the tee!)

Just wanted to put in everyone's mind the need to drive sensibly around the resort. It is getting busier all the time but it is also still easy not to fully concentrate on the roads as they are generally so quiet. My wife left our penthouse block yesterday morning and stepped onto the footpath but nearly got knocked over by a Sparkle cleaning van accompanied by a car that came in through an entry for a different block and drove across the footpath. If she had not reacted quickly and stepped back she would have been seriously hurt. If it had been a child who had just kept running forward we may be looking at a our first fatality on the resort and we surely don't want anything like that to happen. Stay alert!

I've seen a lot of cars myself this week driving to fast

Sadly I suspect nothing will be done until it is too late for someone. It is also reflected in drivers desperate need to speed down the outer car parks rather than stick to the road to get to the gate a few seconds quicker. I think these should be cordoned off to prevent this.

At the Urban Entity meeting on the 2nd July, speed of cars was discussed and the use of speed bumps to help sort the problem.
