Buying via Blue Med

Hi all,

Has anyone purchased an apartment via Blue Med Invest, if so how long from viewing to completion did it take? The company told me that I would have had completion in 2 months, but two months have now elapsed and still waiting?? I have booked to come out in July and really begining to worry now. Help!!

Also  on Blue Med has anybody done the 110% loan & the furniture pack what are your thoughts good or bad please.

Hi, we bought via blue med.... did inspection trip and paid deposit in may last year and completed oct. had booked to go end of aug but little did we realise that aug is holiday for banks !! so had to find somewhere to stay. we did the 110% and got furniture package, its ok and not bad quality stuff to get started with but we are going to update stuff at a later date. Furniture package doesnt include kitchen stuff such as kettle, toaster, plates etc but plenty places around to get those things. Main thing is we have no regrets about buying on condado but dont hold your breath for flight refund as promised we never got ours back so not quite "free inspection trip" they never returned calls or emails after completion !!!

Oooops Cath so the couple of months quoted is quite far off then. I think that we will still come over and may end up renting for that time, need a break now!!! Do you use your as rental or permenant stay???

We bought our villas through blue med and they are first class. Julio dam runs it and I cannot fault him. We had the bank offer sorted within a week. Flew over Thursday, viewed it Friday, signed Friday and Julio put us up at his dad's hotel in bulnuevo. Great service and advise. I would buy through them again

Same for us, minimum I would say would be 3 months if having a mortgage, cash sale may very well be quicker. That's not down to BlueMed as they have to wait on the bank. Unfortunately August wont see any quick movement as many of the bank staff will be on leave.

The return of flight money is a downright porkie - the offer just finished they told us. We did get hotel accomodation in Bolnuevo inc breakfast but far from a free inspection trip. Everything will go through ok though so don't worry. I think most apartments if it is Condado you are buying on don't have light fittings in place but they do come with the furniture pack and Blue Med did go in and fit the lights and get a basic clean done, you must chase them though.

Hello I've just brought a 3 bed on condado from blue med, Julio Adams is a nice guy and a good company to go through but it was 9 months from paying a deposit to completing. This wasn't Julio's fault it was the bank they are always on siesta. 

The next stage is the furniture pack to be installed we have been waiting 4 weeks and still no date from Rupert who deals with this. Can anyone tell me how long for the furniture pack to be installed

we completed 1/10/13 and our furniture pack took till 27/10 /13 to be installed, i say loosely installed as when we turned up they hadnt done clean and everything was in boxes ! we went to see rupert who said he would get his people on to it asap but never did so we did the clean ourselves ( and a few repairs). The thing is some people have been lucky and had no problems and others not so lucky... all in all we are very happy with the apartment so can forget our little hiccups in getting it lol.

I am still waiting for completion of my mortgage deal, its been 9 months now; i was informed recently its with the risk department of the bank so hopefully the completion comes through before the New Year!

Its been pretty frustrating. I am buying a 3 bed on the 110% deal.

Is anyone experiencing a similar problem?

HI, i bought from Blue Med, and all i can say that Julio and his staff were wonderful to deal with, they couldnt have been more helpful, i signed at the notaria on June the 11th and my deeds were ready to collect at Pals solicitors in August, they were recommend by Blue Med and were wonderful and still are so i have never had any stress only pleasant memories, and enjoying my appartment on Jardine 13
