Hi Everyone

I wondered if anyone had a hammer drill on site that I could borrow please?

I do have a drill but apparently it is the wrong type for the job to be done (by dad).

It seems a shame to have to buy one, for the sake of 6 holes, but otherwise, does anyone know of a hire service?

Before you rent a drill, check if you need it. I can't remember having to use one when putting up lights outside, inside or the shower door.

Not sure there is a solid wall in the place!

Hi Steve

Thanks for asking.

We went ahead with the drill we had and managed fine. It chewed the bit up mind, as we didn't use a masonry bit.
Job well done though, thanks to dad.

I was however, very fortunate to have a kind offer of help/loan of drill from a fellow condado resident who read my post...people really are very thoughtful over here!

That's the good thing about condado, there's always offers of help from your neighbours.
