Is the club house open yet?

 Hi all,

Heading out to AG during the summer, and just curious as to whether the club house is open yet. If that's not the case, has there even been an opening date confirmed? Last I heard, it wasn't open and there were no plans to open it in a hurry - and that was in August of last year!

Good news .i had e:mail Tuesday 5th June 2012 from our president,the club house opens on Saturday 16th June, there wil be a celebrity sports tornement followed by a free buffet and a chance for all to inspect the facilities

 Absolutely fantastic news. It will be good for the whole complex to finally have somewhere to hang out, eat and relex.

          Just a little update on the opening of our clubhouse which opened Saturday 16th June , as i was not there i have no pictures ,but

my son and his family were at AG and they went on my behalf ,  they had a realy good time.the company laid on outside caterers

doing all sorts of food,and there was a free bar which went on from lunchtime until very late, aparently it was very,very busy.There was a

Golf competition which was very busy also people playing tennis ,paddle tennis etc.On Sunday the 17th June the clubhouse was open ,

all the furniture in place , all the Gym equiptment laid out, my son went in for drinks,dont know how much drinks are etc, i am not out till

September ,but if no  one posts before i will try and find out a rough ided idea of prices,opening times etc.

Thanks for the update. I have been eager to see what the clubhouse is like inside and to hear about what facilities it has to offer.

So obviously, from your last post it is evident that there is a gym inside and a bar. But is there a restaurant, as stated in your last post you said all the food was catered for, so im not to sure whether there is a restaurant/lounge area or not.

I am looking forward to going to it later this year, but like yourself, I won't be out until early September, so as you said, I can update everyone on prices and facilities if need be whilst I am out .

 Hi All.

We were in Arenal Golf in August and saw the beautiful Clubhouse with childrens play areas in the back.  We ordered tapas which cost about 1.50 euros each, they were quite small portions.  We saw the beautiful gym which we were told was 1 euro for owners to use and 2 euro for guests.  Owners golf 4 euros, guests 12 euros.  They have a website which I am unsure I can add to this reply but if you type club de golf bil bil on google you should get to their website.

The owners have to apply for a card which gives them these discounts.  We gave copies of our passport and were told we should have cards ready by the following week - but this did not happen.  We will have to collect them when we are next out in Benalmadena!

All in all we are pleased that the clubhouse has materalised and the resort is finally coming along.
