Please be advised this guy is a total time waster he has already altered his message on the thread originally dated the 18/03/07. He seems to want to pray on peoples misfortune, fortunately we are not one of those statistics.

Lets keep these jokers off our normally helpfull message board!!

Unless he is posting on other forums as well I consider him genuine. If he wants to buy specifically in DJ at the original prices and somebody is wiling to sell, I can't see the problem. We are all adults here and he is quite clear about his intentions. Maybe there is somebody who can't finance the property and is happy to sell. If not he didn't waste anybody's time by just asking.

hi max

perhaps you should have read the original email before he altered it!!!

If he had explained his true intentions in the first place rather than pretending to be a normal purchaser just after a good deal this would not have angered me so much!

Unfortunately, the real estate market in Southern Spain is currently a buyers market. This can be very frustrating if you are a buyer desperate to sell. You will always get people that are willing to make an offer to buy your property.

However,  I think that all the phases in Don Juan are a good buy based on the developers original selling prices, the location is great and the infrastructure and facilities will only get better over the coming years. I think Carvajal will become a very desirable location to live and holiday along this stretch of coastline.

Don't get offended by people offering stupid prices, they are just trying to make quick money or trying to get a good long-term investment. The fact that they are interested means that the development is worth investing in.

Danazcurt, I'm in phase 1, block 2, on the planta baja level (sticking out terrace) it will cost you 300,000 euro minimum to buy my apartment. Could also offer you my storeroom but would want at least 10,000 euros as is a big one at 3.14m2.  :-)

Regards, Andy

I read the original post.
In the edit he just clarified his intentions and was even more upfront. He's hoping for a good deal and why not? If there is a seller in distress he will be happy with a taker. I can't see the harm in it.  I don't think it's worth a discussion but I'll let other people have a go at this topic. I just have some troubles accusing a forum member out of the blue.

We had two apartments in DJ phase 1, we had to sell one for various reasons. We sold this through one of the largest and well know agents on the costa, it later transpired that the sales guy I was dealing with sold this property to a family member (i.e. bought it himself) and then almost immediately sold it on again to a waiting client for a massive profit which went straight into his back pocket leaving us with a minimal return. If I was in the same situation again I would rather sell to someone like Danazcurt then to some scheming lying toe rag of an agent who fiddled us out of some €30,000! Too be honest if I was looking to buy again on the Costa I would probably do the same as Danazcurt as a) it is a buyers market and b) there are many people who have bought in various developments all over the coast in haste and are facing problems completing etc in which case it makes sense not too. A prime example of this is a development called Palmeras de Calahonda which I know the developers were selling a couple of years back for around €300,000 + IVA there are 2 of these apartments listed today on EOS for only €230,000!!.
