A question for Justin regarding privacy in our PMs.

We purchesed an Albatross number 13.46 in June 2004 and were told that the plot sizes were 250Sq metres. When we visited the site earlier this month, we were able to dodge the security guard and measure our plot.  We were rather disappointed to find that it only measured just under 220 sq metres and because of this would not have room for a pool.  Also we met a couple whilst we were there and they purchased  in June 2005 and their property will be ready before ours , We believe they were on no 14 or 15. Is there any  one out there that  has bought on sector 13 as we would certainly appreciate their views.

I know that the price for an extra square metre of land is 100 Euros, therefore if you are 30sq m short then it sounds like you should be entitled to 3,000 Euros refund!

Could be worth your while looking deeper into it.

hi Cerys,     We also purchased a Albatros 13.1 in 2004.Plot sizes given were 250 sq.mts.We purchased an extra 28 sq.mts.,room for a pool.My daughter was over in Feb.07,shame she had no tape measure with her.She said the plot looked smaller than expected.I contacted the agent ,who visited the site and said it look correct She did'nt take a measure with her.I'll soon be going over myself armed with a tape measure ,and hope to find the true size .frank & lesley

It states in our contract that the plot size ( 260 sq. Mtrs.) is approx so it may be difficult to argue the point with Masa. I suggest you take the matter up with your solicitor to get a legal opinion.

It is possible that the Plot size includes the footpath between the wall and the Road  -- impossible in the UK , but then ,this is Spain after all. When we were last there in May06 , there weren't any walls built, so we couldn't take any outside measurements.
