Train - Alhama to Murcia City

I have looked on the Renfe website to check the train times/price for the journey from Alhama to Murcia.  I can see that the train leaves Alhama at 11 minutes past the hour and returns at 38 minutes past the hour - but I can't see the prices anywhere.

Does anyone know how much this journey will cost?

 Its about 3.50 - 4 € return, cant be exact as I get discounts.  (Ex BR)

The way Spanish trains work is you pay for single Journey and if you ask for return you get discount on the return part.

(If over 65 you can buy a Railcard and get good discounts on peak travel)

Journey takes half hour, Last train back is about 9pm

 As Mick says the fare is 3 - 4 euro's return ask for an "ida y vuelta" ticket, this is an exellent way to discover Murcia, the station is about a fifteen minute walk from the Cathederal area where you can also access the new tram system, and take a ride out to Nueva Condominium, good day out !

. This sounds an ideal way to see Murcia. Are you able to leave your car at Alhama station and is there a parking charge please.

We used the train it was great although we did walk into the City from the train station then found out there are buses for about a euro. Yes you can park at Alhama free.
