Did the Bulgarian restaurant open in Al Kazar last Saturday?

Does anyone know if this happened or if the opening has been delayed?

I hear that it did and it was all very successful and busy.

 Packed to the rafters!! good food [all free] reasonably priced drinks,it will be very successfull if the opening night is anything to go by.

We went last night had a nice meal, very varied menu so something for everyone including children and the p[rices are reasonable. Friendly and helpful staff and they do great cocktails. Opens at 6.30pm, we'd booked for 7pm and and several tables were already in use when we arrived and by the time we were leaving it was really filling up. I think the Italian part of the menu is yet to begin but there are pizza's on the menu. I'd forgotten just what a big space that restaurant is but it all looked very good. We'd also had drinks in the Clover earlier and again very helpful staff and quick service. Along with Condado Club all of this is very positive for CdA

Completely agree with Jann on this - Fiona and I dined there last night for the first time since we came out. To be honest we couldn't belive how varied and extensive the menu was - a huge array of options, which means we can go regularly without having to eat the same old thing. Our eventual choices were well cooked, the service was speedy and friendly. The cost was reasonable @ 45 euros for 2 courses, wine and coffee. We'll definitely be back,

To be honest the 1st night on Monday was terrible and I was ready for calling in Gordon Ramsay as the food I had was poor and the length of wait was unbelievable. We waited 1 hour and 15 mins just for the 1st course from being seated.

I have to say the 2nd time and finally the 3rd time last night was far better and the guys did us proud and definately restored my confidence in them. I spoke to the owner and he did acknowledge the place is big and that he had under estimated things but at least getting all these learning's out of the way before the summer rush starts.

I have heard on the grape vine that this is likely to be a seasonal restaurant only but I really hope this is not true and surely IRM have a responsibility to be encouraging long term businesses that will benefit the communitee as opposed to businesses just taking the money and running once the summer rush over.

I personally would like to see a bit more competition regarding restaurants on CDA to start embedding a bit of quality and class. La Manga golf club has a good selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and I hope 1 day that CDA gets to the same position.
