Got this unsolicitored email yesterday for a special Costa Del Sol property promotion.  That familiar picture of our bottom pool caught my attention.  It reads

According to a recent report in the Economist the market has yet to reach the bottom and may have another circa 25% to go beyond current values.  That includes the UK too.

Not that it bothers me but it does interest me.  I'm often thinking maybe cash up in the UK and buy a three bed !

If you look on www.catalunyacaixa.com which is the web site for one of the banks that funded part of Duquesa Village, there is a long list of apartments available for sale with their discounted prices shown.

Don't take a look if it will depress you.

Suspect that the properties Metta are trying to sellselling will be the same ones.

Hi everyone i am a new member that has put a deposit down on a unit in block 19.

i was really excited and thought it was a good thing to do on new years eve.

i visited 10 days ago and am looking at it in a different way now and would appreciate some feed back.

i was told when i bought that the blocks were going to get re painted in January 2012.

as far as i am aware this has not happened yet?

i was also told that the 156k euros was being paid by the bank! why was the money not in the maintenance pot?

does anyone know what the time scale usually is for blocks to be painted?

whats the views of owners are u pleased u bought or do u think i should buy somewhere else?

Yes I Think you did the right thing buying here. AND YES there is some painting needed but this is being looked at to see who is responsible for the condition of some apartments, wont get into that as its a can of worms but its a great place to live . Generally well maintained anything you request usually gets done asap the maintainance blokes are really nice and helpfull.

When you go down to the Marina all you seem to hear is people  complaining about their Urbanizations but i have lived here for 2 years now full time and dont have any complaints about the Development just lazy dog owners who dont clean up but thats another can of worms
