Hi,

We had a tortoise when we were young, and you would be amazed at the speed they go. ours used to bury its' selves in soil when it was  due to hibernate, so check any flower beds, hedge rows etc.

Hi Neil,

Really sorry,  would gladly have helped had I been on Condado.  Are you sure he hasn't been half inched as some people think they are valuable but it is the giant ones that are worth the money not the small ones.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you but try not to worry, ours would go missing for months and then a neighbour would bring him back, he was a wee devil. He eventually got lost/stolen from his hutch in the back garden after we had him for 15 years and just like you we were broken hearted. My brother now breeds giant tortoise but without success as it is an  extremely diffficult thing  to do.

good luck with the search party.

Ali

My teenage son complained to the administrator that it had been following him around for days..... on the few occasions he actually got out of bed that is!
