New calculation of Valor Catastral

Just received a letter from the Hacienda (tax office) to say the New calculation of Valor Catastral has been done and it  looks like it is going up but the impact will be spread over the years till 2019.

I need to do a full translation of the letter to fully understand the consequences.

Has anybody else received these letters?

The date on the letter the start date of the change (fecha de inicio)  was 27-08-2010. The letter only arrived 2 days ago, and the letter was new so its not been sitting in a post box for months.

We've also received this notice from the Hacienda.

Like you we need to fully translate it.

Hi Jeff, yes we received the same letter dated the 27th August 2011, we have emailed it to Daniela for translation, we was of the opinion that a reduction was due but not sure,

My Dad tried to translate but he said it was legal gobbledygook.  I am going to bring a copy to the EGM to see if Antonio can make head or tail of it.

I suggest that it is taken to the foreigners department in the Castillo so that they can translate it.

Hi any news on making sense of the translation?

I never did get the letter myself.  Strangely when last in DV my neightbour had about 30 items of accumulated post whilst I only had two envelopes.  Now I'm really paranoid that someone is nicking my post.

It was the legal ruling that the valor castral was to be amended this year.
