Bought a car!

Thank you to the person who suggested we buy a car. I looked into the costs and as we are out 5 to 6 times a year it was getting expensive with car rental and driving down for ferry, tolls and petrol. We have now bought a cheap old car to leave here. It will pay for itself in under 2 years. Also if people wish to borrow the apartment it now has a car with it! We bought from specialist vehicles group in san Javier . Great service! Helped us out loads.

Hi i bought a car last xmas, if you lend your car out make sure you keep the  dates, when people lent it in case you get any speeding fines etc at a later date.

Good idea. Although quite an old car. It is a bit like the flintstones! It has these winding things in the front and cannot find buttons for electric windows!

My car is a 4year old clio and  there is not many toys on it but it will do the job, When you are buying fuel next door to iceland in san javier  you will find  a little garage fuel is cheaper than anywhere i know, if you take a details of you address (electric bill etc) and ask him for a discont card you will get a bit more of your bill. every little helps.lol

If you are going to Murcia you can petrol buy at makro and do not need a members card. If you are a member of macro in UK you can enter the store if you present your makro card and passport. Lots of cheap things there. Especially wine! Paying about 1.99 euros for wine that would cost at least £5 in uk!
