About time...its getting pretty crowded at the other pools....
As far as I can tell our community management have been flushing 1000s litres of water through this pool for a few hours every day for the last year or more even though it was never open. Why would they think twice about changing the timer? After all it is you and I who pay for all that wasted water.
You have to keep the filtration system working even on a closed pool otherwise it will get dirty and if the chemical level is not correct it will go green, that leads to addition cost.
Isn't the top pool on builders power?

Not sure whose power supply? Do you think it was heated?
I was considering the cost of the water.
What a waste - all that water going through each day for nearly a year but no one able to use the poo.
No the pool is not heated, but why do you think the water is wasted. It is just pumped for so many hours a day to keep the water clean.
If you leave a pool empty the pool lining my deteriate and cost of fixing mayl be more than the cost of circulating water.
