Car Hire recommendation

Will be visiting Corvera 3 days in April; Want to pick up a car from Alicante airport and return it to Murcia airport. Using different airports for pick up/drop off is not a problem, but been checking out car hire small print; - seems that they have a new way of scamming us. i.e You are charged for a full tank of petrol (no doubt @ premium charge) and you have to return it empty -this is very unlikely on a 2 / 3 day trip.

Anybody recommend cheap car hire where you can return the car with the same amount of fuel that you picked it up with?

I am doing the exact same journey in April and using Coys car hire. Very good value and no fuel rip off. Check out their website.

On our recent 3 and half day trip, we used Amigo autos, (goldcar), from Alicante, €18 for the whole hire inc insurance, we had to pay for a full tank fo fuel but get back money for any we didn't use.

We were up and down to Murcia a few times and we manged to use 3/4 of a tank.

But we always use them and they are normally unbeatable.
