Just come back from our 1st visit as owners. we completed a few months ago and have not been able to get over to Spain to see our new home. All the legal stuff was done through POA, and we had Roy from Inpectahomespain to snag the propery as he came highly recommended.

Since then we have used Roy and his team to furnish 95% of the property and what a wonderful job they did for us and also kept the price to a minimum as we had a very small budget They kept us informed every step of the way with many emails, pictures, suggestions and telcoms. We gave them a rough brief and exchanged information all the time. It was both ways, them asking us if "this and that" was what we wanted, etc. They picked out a few bargains too and we have ended up with many high quality pieces of furniture that look great and did not cost the earth. We cannot thank him enough.

They are also a mine of information about most things Corvera as they are onsite and know the place inside and out. We were so happy with the results and it already feels like home.

We added a few personal touches over the weekend ourselves to enhance what Roy has done for us and we could not be happier with everything. It is so dificult to know who to trust in Spain but you wont go wrong with Roy Howitt.

It was a shame the weather wasn't kinder on the visit, quite chilly and windy. Also a pity that there were not many people on site either as it would have been lovely to meet a few owners for a chat but it was a flying visit and we were so busy with a few last minute purchases, so maybe next time we are over in about 6-7 weeks.

The resort looked much the same as it did late last summer, it was a shame to see so many empty apartments and without a lot more people on site, the clubhouse would not be able to function properly even if it was built, which is a worry going forward as I cannot see it opening 7 days a week even if finished.

Hello all,

We too have just returned from Corvera for the first time, a very swift 3/4 days last week which we enjoyed very much. As far as our apartment goes we were delighted, lovely views, great location within the development - but yes it was shame to see other parts of the development which you could see were looking a little sorry for themselves.

The clubhouse felt eery as we walked around it, and it was a real shame to see the driving range, pro shop etc closed.

Potentially, as we all know, the development could be fantastic - you can see what they set out to achieve, and with hopefully some more financial help they will push the building work and facilities over the finish line. The whole feeling as you approach the Corvera security gate and drive round the development felt quality for the most part. Our pool was clean and in good condition, albeit very cold! The weather was mid-70's and perfect for getting some jobs done without wilting.

My wife and I cannot wait to return with our children and also our parents, we think it has a lot to offer, along with the other areas nearby, notably Murcia town which was very busy on Saturday night and had a great atmosphere.

I would like to make it once again clear on this message board how helpful Roy Howitt (and of course Lorraine) are. They were there to greet us on the day we arrived, and made us feel very relaxed straight away. As usual, they were full of helpful information and were on call at any time of the day if we needed assistance. In fact, the whole process from snagging to the time we finally walked through the front door was made so much easier thanks to their ease of contact and professionalism. Out of sheer kindness they gave the apartment a quick spruce and arranged the outdoor furtniture etc just to make us feel more welcome when we turned up. Honestly you can't go wrong with using their services - highly recommended.

Our thoughts when we departed as we looked back at the panoramic view from the exit gate were very positive - you can visualise that when the airport opens, as slowly but surely people manage to complete on their purchase, and hopefully the banks see fit to lend the funds to complete the clubhouse, not to mention paramount etc,. all of a sudden this place will take off and we'll be in a very exclusive place to own.

Hi All:

Just returned last Sunday, from our first visit as owners. The weather was fantastic and the kids got to play golf every day!

We were delighted with the apartment and would like to take this opportunity to thank Roy & Lorraine for all their help & very hard work in putting it together, you did a superb job!  We stayed for 5 days and the apartment was equipped with everything you could possibly need, right down to the gas connection & gas cylinder for the BBQ. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate in recommending Roy  & Lorraine Howitt - to anyone who needs some help & support with their property.

I know there was the problem with the pools while we were there, but work had resumed the day before we left, so hopefully when we return the frogs will be away! We also had the opportunity to attend Mikel's BBQ &  John's pub quiz on the Fri night and we had a great night! Thanks for the Kids quiz they really enjoyed it!

Can't wait to get back!
