Volcanic Ash

We were supposed to be flying out there on sunday but not looking promising. Anyone stranded out there?

Our 1^st flight was booked for Friday which was cancelled, we phoned Friday morning to re schedule was put on hold for 1hr after which we booked another flight for Saturday which has also been cancelled.  We have been trying to get through to customer service since 8.00 am this morning (Saturday - it is now 10.30 am) but as yet have been unable to speak to anyone.  Our flight was booked with Jet 2.

Ist flight Thursday Cancelled, 2nd Flight Friday Cancelled, third flight today Cancelled. Asked for my money back, will come out to S J when the flights are back to normal, what ever normal is.

I went out for 4 days with a couple of mates and just arrived back home 10 days later........but on the positive side the flight was on time and without issues.

I know a certain person whos flights were not affected....the luck of the Irish eh

Just spotted this post. I cant understand how you didn't foresee this problem. After all we both booked the flights at the same time months in advance - I just picked the right dates!!!!!!

Anyway, not sure about the luck of the Irish, we only got the 8 days we planned - you got 10.
