medical centre

It was brought up in another thread that there is no medical facilities .I can categorically tell all that there is a 24hr medi centre in corvera turn left at the ferritera in the square.Having lived in corvera for 5yrs this is 100% fact .Anything else on the area p.m me

iwik61 it good to have factual posts from somebody that actually lives in Corvera rather than guesses of what is or isn't available over there. Please keep such information coming,

it does help. Wish i was back to try and tell anyone who has moved permantly of any pitfalls that the country will throw at you and there are some.Keep november free as the feista is on  then for the whole week

iwik,  I can categorically tell you in the Corvera brochure it  DID  say  De -Vere 5 star Hotel,  Spa , Commercial Centre , Sports Centre , Horsey thing , HUGE swimming pool , loads of grass pitches that you can kick.bat. throw . lay down on , picnic if you like.A few Restaruants, tarmac sports centre. walking and bike trails . I am sure theres more but you get my drift ( Cuddly toy )

OH very important it said 24 hour Medica centre.

What it  DID NOT  say was  · Right Guvner.,  Out you go from the Resort ,  take the 1st left past  " Miguals Coffe emporium "  (  what a place that is, Tennants extra beer cant beat it !!!  ) sorry  I digress, after that take the 4th  roundabout on the left , well  I am not sure at this point could be the right, anyway you could always stop and ask.  thats if you can find anybody.

You should by now be out of the main gate, head in the direction of  Corvera Village , this is where I differ from iwik61   no way would I go Via the Ferrita , You get snarled up in the village Centre could take you an extra 15 seconds

By now my 3 friends ( i always include Jane ) you will see  I have slightly lost the plot. !!!!

Please Guys, I welcome your info, BUT lets not confuse the reality,  by the way I have been here over 10 years so  i no Corvera as well

I know what you're saying Jored I've still got ALL the brochures, dvd's etc. correct me if I'm wrong but it also said Corvera will have it's own International airport. Surely they meant that they were going to install one on the par 5, 14th fairway (being the longest on the course and able to receive the new super-jumbo's) or did they mean the one being built closer to Vallodolises ?

Anyway I'm going out to play the course in a few days and if I don't see Sam Torrence during my round there will be hell to pay !

I think you will have more chance of seeing Ken Dodd

I played both HDA and La Manga back in December and cannot for the life of me see why any pga golfer would play Corvera

Steve looking at some of your posts I think you will pull the plug and not sign at Corvera and if so it maybe a very wise move.......
