penthouse ready

got a call today from polaris saying my penthouse is ready and would i like to go over and sign up. what do i do? sign up, join all the other people that have taken the plunge? wait for polaris to come out of 90 day administration and see what happens? or walk away and keep my remaining €60,000 for another day? any thoughts would be gratefully recieved.

Make sure they have got the habitation certificate as when I was there last week I was told that they hadn't been issued as yet by the town hall and any Solicitor worth their salt will tell you not to complete without it although many people do.  As for what you should do that is a personal decision given your own individual circumstances, I personally would get the property and safe guard my 40% as the property market is now showing signs of improvement all over the world, albeit slow there is a small improvement

Hi Andrew - just wondering if you decided to 'sign up' and if so how it is it progressing? 

Alos wandering if there are any other phase 2/12 penthouse purchasers out there who have signed up.  Which blocks are complete and ready to hand over?

Hi Andrew,

I'm in phase 2 block 285 and expecting handover in the next few months. As a personal decision I will be going ahead as the golf course looks like it will complete this year, and as long as they have a golf bar to go with it, I'm happy. Once the buildings finished Resortalia will be the managing company so doesn't really matter what happens to Polaris, except if there are building problems to be resolved. I've stayed on a couple of Polaris resorts and from what I've seen they produce a good product, just not very good at keeping to a plan or keeping us informed.

Hi All, Has anyone managed to get through to Polaris CS to get an update on a ready date???? I am in block 287 and I received a letter from the Completions Dept looking for passport and NIE nos which I sent over a few days later (they did acknowledge receipt). Since then I have heard nothing and no-one is replying to anyone of my emails......... Just hoping someone else might be having more luck than me!!!!!! P.

I have been unable to ge through to PW by phone, so I emailed and eventually got a reply (that was a first!), but all they said is that they would contact me when it was ready. My solicitors spoke to them last month, and it was suggested that it would be in March and they were waiting for the certificates de habitacion, but again nothing in writing. I also have completed the information for the NIE application.
