Fancy a Round of Golf on Corvera

I shall be visiting in February and fancy a round of golf sometime between 15th - 18th.

Thought I may as well start a thread so that individuals might be able to liase and join one another for a game.

This thread does not invite people to have a go at Corvera, merely for the golfers who want to team-up, who knows it could be the start of Corvera Golf Society ?

Anyway, anybody up for a round 15th - 18th of Feb ?

 i am going to have to scratch our apres golf warm beer.

I have decided to join Jane instead for a horse ride followed by some pampering at the hotel spa and then onto the boutiques for some retail therapy! We may possibly join you after for some lunch at the clubhouse.

Dont worry i will make sure she doesnt hit the credit cards too hard.

Many thanks to Stevel, ICSpain and his daughter for their great company on the Corvera golf course last Wednesday. I thoroughly enjoyed the company and the golf Especially Ians up and dow....now where the hell did that go from the bunker on the 12th. I do apologise for the poor etiquette we all displayed whilst rolling around laughing on the green and in case you are interested Ian , yes! this did influence my decision to exchange the apartment that would have been directly in your firing-line (albeit across the roundabout, i'm certain you would have reached it) for one at completely the other end of the development.

Anyway it was great and am looking forward to doing it all again soon, maybe with some new Corverians joining us next time.

I did go looking for that ball the following day as I drove around the roundabout.  Which reminds me you did drive off the 18th tee down the road on your left to near your new front door.

We (Marie & John) arrive (again) on 27th Feb and looking for golf partners !!!!

We will be around for about 4 weeks and happy to play in a mixed fourball or I am happy with some games with Gents only....don't tell Marie!!

We aim to play on Saturday 27th at some point.

Just played a round of golf in the glorious sunshine and light breeze. Told by ladyin pro shop that it is still free golf for residents umtil at least October....they are trying to tie in the "official opening of the course" with charging for golf. The "official opening" may or may not tie in with the opening of the clubhouse. I,  for one, sincerely hope the clubhouse is available for the "official opening". I hope you all agree.

I hope so too.  We have completed on our property at Corvera this week and I also agree we (owners) need to start applying some pressure on Corvera to get the clubhouse completed now; I don't see how they can 'officially' open the golf course while the only 'clubhouse' facilities are a portakabin in the car park next to the Sales Office.  We will certainly be asking for an update when we go out towards the end of July.

does anyone know if roda owners can play at corvera?

if so, how much?
