does anyone know if phase 2 penhouses are near completion also please

We met you when we were in S.C. in November.      Glad you are still enjoying it there.      We hope to be joining you in S.C. in a few weeks time.       We have just received the First Habitation Licence from Taray for our quad.       Have you had any bills yet for electric etc?    Can you advise on getting phone,TV, computor etc there?

Hi we have bought on phase 2 and are coming out for a few days at the end of he month. Can anyone advise on how to receive english channels in San Cayetano on the TV .

Shall we bring a freeview and would this pick up anything or do we need sky etc.

If this is the option how much does it cost.

We use Torresat, its 99 euros installation then 20euros a month.

Not sure if a freeview box from the Uk will work but a box is provided with the installation

Hi Nick,

The Torresat system needs a card like Sky to receive TV channels, a UK free view box does not work I know I tried one! Even if it did you would only get Spanish Freeview Channels not UK ones. Because we are not allowed individual satellite dish’s we at the mercy of Torresat but the service is not bad now, it is a little expensive if you don’t live in Spain saying that most of the content would be available for free in the UK.

Can we put a small dish on our roof terrace?

Other, have suggested using Torresat but have much does this cost to switch on and off when we are not there as we do not want to pay 20 euros per month.

Does anyone know if  TDT boxes work in this area and have Tarey put up digital ready aerials

The size of the dish you would need is huge. Plus you can't legally recieve Sky in Spain as they don't have a licence to broadcast there.

You are better off getting a SlingBox to us see http://uk.slingmedia.com/ but that will only work if you have a sky or cable tv connection in the UK and an internet connection in Spain which is actually very easy if you use a Vodafone mobile stick.

Does any one know if there is a bus service from Murcia airport  to San Ceyatano and time table.  How many of you have signed and moved in on phase two.

Don't know about the bus service, but we've completed and are going over tomorrow for a couple of days.

The airport bus may be a kind of express one that goes direct to Murcia without stopping anywhere.  The local bus goes north from San Javier, nowhere near the airport.
