There is a new sign up in the grounds today saying 'NO BALL GAMES!

Is there some stupid little person without a life sitting there somewhere at a desk thinking of different ways to control and rule peoples' lives and thinking of extra ways NOT to attract holiday makers and new owners/renters to the Urbanisation?

This rule is pathetic!  I know of families who have chosen CDS for the outside space available to the children (of which there are very few at the Urbanisation) and now the children are not aloud to play outside on the grass with a ball.  I just cannot see the problem with them playing with a ball outside, there are no windows to break (as most of the windows have rejcas) and they are not damaging the grass.

Please tell me how this is going to attract further buyers, renters and holiday makers (especially) to the urbanisation.  Without all three of the previously mentioned, CDS will become a ghost town  and will have a detrimental effect on the current owners and community fees.

We have no such rule on PM4 (the urbanisation is split into 4 separate communities), we even have Boule court.

Perhaps we should move over to a more friendly community!

Actually, I shouldn't have tarred all the PM's with the same brush, this is PM2 I am talking about.

Given the money invested by the owners and the considerable progress made in bringing the gardens up to standard these rules are understandable. The whole place looks so much better than 2 years ago but only through huge effort and investment by owners and a great Committee

On hindsight, perhaps my post isn't going to help owners to rent their properties either, so I would just like to point out that apart from a few niggly rules the urbansiation is actually a lovely place to live and holiday at.  (with regards to the 'no ball games' it seems that the children have ignored the rule and carried on playing anyway and nothing else has been said, as yet.
