condado update

The restaurant is ready for opening.... tables set with red/white gingham tableclothes, wine glasses,condiments and cutlery laid out. Bar well stocked, lights on and looks very nice.

Today there were about 12 spanish people (maybe staff?) tucking into an enormous paella which really did look delicious.

The palms inside the town centre are now unfurled with leaves spreading out which does look better.

Pool been cleaned out but rapidly filling again with debris from the high winds which will last a few days.

Work on clubhose and 19th? progressing well.

Construction occuring at side of penthouse block 7 which may be office for administration of the practice facilities?

Concrete bases installed at side of tees ready for installation of  posts for hole information.

Plenty happenning on all fronts.

Hi All

Just back last night.Weather was lovely and place just gets better all the time.Went to opening buffet for two restaurants on Friday night.Food was very good.They served various tapas dishes and brought  out massive dishes of paella.Red wine and beer were free and were flowing!!!!

Restaurants officially opened Saturday and had good varied menus ,prices were probably what you expect to pay to eat in nice surroundings and both restaurants were well laid out and had a lovely night there.

Still lot of confusion about when golf course will open.Lot of people think it could be January now although Polaris still saying 1st December.Still appears to be a lot of tidying up to do so fingers crossed they will get a move on and put a nice happy smile on all the Golfers faces.
