General Help

Hi everyone !

Does anybody know where i can get a piece of glass cut ?

The coffee table we have is abit large, so i am thinking of getting this cut in half.

I have tried searching for crystaliers in the area, but not really much luck.

If anyone knows where i can get this cut then please let me know,

no but I have a business card for an English spealing glazier, sure he would be able to help - are you sure it would fit on the base/s if cut in half?

Yes, it will fit.

The base has TWO seperate black metal frames holding the glass top.

So, by cutting the glass in half, i will have TWO smaller tables.

I would appreciate details for the contact you have on the business card.

Hi Panky,

If you do find a cutter, you may not get what you expect, the edge of the glass is bevelled and it is unlickly that the cutter would be able to do this when he cuts the glass, you would be left with a very sharp edge.

The bevell is put in during the mafacturing process.

Hope you're keeping well.

I was actually hoping the glass people would be able to finish the edge off too.

Well.... i'm coming out soon, and if i don't succeed then i may just buy another table.

Will then have to look for a smaller coffee table with keeping to the present style and colour though.

I have found and rang couple of crystaliers around our area, so i'll pop out and see them with the glass.
