Has anyone got any advice on bank gaurentees on our investment, we dont have one as yet but have been told we can get one from Aifos if we pay 250 to 300 euros does this sound ok?

Simon, we are in the process of getting a bank guarantee from Aifos, but the cost will not be a one off 250 euros, it will depend on the length of time that the guarantee is in place (ie: between now and the eventual completion - which may be some time yet!!)

I was wondering if you got your Bank Guarantee from Aifos? We are having to go to court to try and get one.

No luck as yet. I am of the opinion now that they (the apartments) are so far advanced, that they are probably unlikey to be put in place before completion?

I know that Aifos give bank guarantee for others projects that are at the beginning (like valle del rosario golf) but I think they don't want to give it in a project that its almost finish.
