Friday frolic

Does the Friday Frolic still go on? Haven't seen a mention of it lately or is the weather too warm?.

Yes the Friday Frolic is still going strong, yesterday the 5th we had 26 people playing,a little warm but a great time was had by all. Hope you can join us next time you are over.

Friday Frolic 5th June

There were 28 golfers who turned up to play the F/F 6 of which were guest.

We now have 96 SGS members, which is going to be capped @100.

We hope to play for the Captains Cup the first week in Setember, but before that we will have a singles stapleford knockout competition, details will be put on EOS as soon as we have the dates etc.

OK This weeks winners

Winner of the stapleford coming in with 26 points was Steve Brown (has been deducted 4 points)

Runners up coming in with 25 points was Eddie Smith

Longest Drive on the first hole was won by Barry Juggins

Nearest to the pin on the 6th hole was Bob Gallard

Runners up coming in with 20 points (on count back) was Steve Brown

Nearest to the pin was Peter Samways

Longest Drive was Ron Page.
