Thank you for the PM response below. I was not too sure if you would receive a reply to this via the PM due to number of posts made so thats why I have replied here. I understand what you are saying but it still concerns me regarding completing if water and electrics are not connected. Maybe I am just a bit wary about this but I have read too many horror stories about people completing with no water & elec.
You can do a snagging ANY TIME before completion date, but after completion (when white goods, water and elecs connected, i have been told only 1 snagging loist will be allowed. EG I couildn't see in bathrooms to check tiles for faults or damage as there was no light so that area will be left till the guy doing my snagging can see around properly and check my plumbing and electrics when utilities are connected.
Hope that helps. I haven't been in to check again to see if my snagging items have been attended to because a lot was probably just needing deep cleaning, like plaster on tiles, adhesives stuck to shutters/ tiles etc.
But dont worry, after completion as guys still working you can make sure annything needed will be attended to because Phase 2 will not be ready for a while so all workmen still on site.
