Just wondered anyone else received all the jargon from Gemini wealth management and CAG EUROPE spanish purchase rescue plan all headed up with Lesley Albericci name on  now a Legal consultant in Compliance,Property and Financial claims.Well i couldn't believe it when it dropped through my letterbox,i am so annoyed that this lady as helped us be in the mess we are in now that i telephoned Gemini and spoke to the management there,who assured me that they new nothing of OVP  and Lesley Alberici Association with them,,whether this is true i dont know but the address is Gemini Wealth Management,Atlas House,4-6 Belwell Lane,Mere Green Sutton Codfield B74 4 AB excepts emails and letters ONLY,(i wonder why)

Also CAG EUROPE is a rescue plan for those who have suffered loss or been misled!!!!Does this sound familiar.It does have Lesley Albericic name at the top of letterhead

Yes we received this on Saturday - Alberici involved in 'Wealth Management' - You couldnt make it up could you? and as you say... the reason most of us are in this mess is that we relied on her as our solicitor to make sure that things were done correctly! If it wasnt so bloody tragic it would be funny??? Now she is trying to cash in on the fact she did a crap job in the first place..

Totally agree with your comments Laura B,  I am going to write to her and hopefully get response (in writing).

Legally, how  long will our personal data be held in storage before it is destroyed?

 Why,  Conveyancing Spain wrote to us and said they would be acting as agents on behalf of solicitors J Ollerosos.but that they denied Conveyancing Spain ever being agents for them when I sent them an email asking if they were signatories for our deposit monies.

Here is the story:

Reading through all the paper work I have, i came accross Lesley's letter confiming she is the solicitor action on bahalf of the spanish solicitor. So I decided to do a search as we have not heard anything from her. I then noticed that she has closed shop (Cuk Solicitors). I then reported to Legal complaint service. The out come of their investigation was that they where able to track her down and she said  she was not our solicitor and that she was just acting on behave of our spanish solicitor. The legal compliant service people told me that, out of coutersy she will write to all involved and advise on taking a class action against the developer. Which sounds ok. 

But then the letter i got through the post is now advertising another company Gemini wealth management. enclosed is a form  for CAG Europe proposing a rescue plan.  Is any one ready to use their serivices or should we just ignore this letter and consider it as another sales letter ?????

Anyone concerned about the retention of Data should contact the Information Comissioners and make a complaint.

Anyone received any contact from the OVP people since the OVP Int went into liquidation? If you do not want to post here send me a PM please.

Oh do come on, please dont be naive in regards to Alberici - she not only got you into this mess but she also wants to profit from your demise. Ignore the letter but do make a complaint to the authorities.

we are also a victim of the lies of Alberici, and OVP and Aifos to the tune of our life savings.   We also got the recent letter which defies belief!  We also reported her to the legal complaints service, but they wouldn't even look in to our very black and white case of blatent lies, as they said it was to long ago for them to make a case. Nice eh, so we have reported them to the ombudsman who deals with complaints about the legal complaints office.  For her to cheat so many, wind the company up, and start again without a care is just so very wrong.  What a bunch of crooks.

 To be fare,

   This situation may be out of Alberici's control. So I will not accuse her. But our money was paid to OVP, if anything was going wrong with the developer OVP is suppose to update us. I have decided not to reply the letter from Alberici, as it sounds like she wants to milk the rest of the dead cow.

What are your plans of dealing with this situation from OVP and developer's side

our situation was most certainly not out of Alberici's control. She sent us a letter saying the building license was in place so funds could be released to the developer. A license never was issued on the devolment, the site was never built, but by then our money was sent to the developer. Nearly 7 years of stress and worry, and we are still trying to get our money from the developer!!

 I have checked all my documents I cannot see anything that states that the building license has been issued. But there was a letter from OVP that states that the license has been issued (stated in an obscure way) .I also noticed that the money should have not been paid without a building license, stated on one of her letters. You situation may be different from mine as mine stated in 2005.

I am very sure my money is not lost. I am dealing with this on a spiritual level. Whoever holds my money cannot have peace until they release it. In Jesus Name....

Bornagain.....Lesley Alberici was supposedly acting on our (her paying clients) behalf however, this is not the reality of the situation. We were promised that no money would leave the 'bonded, client account' until building licence etc was in place!!!!! NO BUILDING LICENCE EVER ISSUED SO WHY DID THE MONEY EVER GET TRANSFERRED????????????

Perhaps the Lord above can shed some light on this eh??!!

 She is in trouble at the moment and taking cover. If you are serious about getting to her speak to the legal compliaint service. They know where she is.

sady, the legal compliaints service were useless when we contacted them.  They said because it was longer than six months ago since we dealt with her, they would take no action. This was a pathetic answer, as we only found she was also very much jointly to blame several years down the line, when we eventually found a truly independent lawyer with no hidden connection to her, the crooked developers, or the agents O * P.

  We were set up by the agent/lawyer/developer trick.  We are now complaining about the legal compliants service, as they are little better than the sharks who cheated us in my opinion. 

 "six months ago since we dealt with her"  what does that mean? All you need to tell them is that you have not dealt with her. All you are doing is looking for her to come and explain why she did not perform years ago. Or have you dealth with her lately?.

I think legal complaint is the best option for you. I suggest you try them again.
