House Insurance

After paying well over the odds last year for buildings and contents insurance am looking to save a few bob this time round! Any recmendations please?

             We have just renewed with Knights at La Zenia they quoted us with several comany's and were very very helpful. They speak Spanish, German, English etc, which was a bonus for us.We paid 150 euro's 70k rebuilding costs and full contents cover we did not think it was bad. But then again we did not shop around and they are brokers not direct..Claire

Knights gave a good quote but in the end went with easy insurance (Colins recomedation) and saved 250euros on last year! Thank you both!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know the rebuilding cost of 1/4 of a Quad, or what is the recommended amount for insurance quotes?

Knights and Easycover seem to have been popular, is this still the case?

I spoke to Halifax last week anout house insurance and they suggest a rebuilding cost of 100K for insurance purposes. is this what others have used when quoting for buildings insurance?
