Getting our money back

Had email from our solicitor in mojacar,  after winning our case and the spainish court demanding huma give a full refund,  huma have ignored the court, my solicitor has checked humas banks and assets to try to get our money back,  the banks have very little money left in the huma accounts( just enough to keep them goimg) all land and duildings on acc/occ/mcc have large loans against them,  he has also found court cases against huma from builders   plant hire companies  material suppliers ect  ect 

his opinion is we will never get our refund,   huma have hidden away the millions in deposits and took out loans on all assets then hidden this money as well.........................does anyone have any ideas how to force humas hand,

Thanks for the info jack. This is all very alarming now and very worrying for many of us trying to get this developer to pay up and refund. Altho' much of this we expected from this company.

What a terrible way to run a business, how do they sleep at night. It does sound as if they will go under now (with the money). God knows what we do then..................

I don't no quite what to say, apart from i'm guttted,.To think all this can happen and he is getting away with it, He probably got his lovely spanish home posh car,and our money for his retirement, I know  what i would like to do and say to him and all the people that were involved in this scam . I hope these people don't  sleep at night  to think of how it could be them or anyone of their families .Like most of you, we willl be struggling to pay  this money back for the next 25 yrs and what for NOTHING. But we can't and won't give up hope yet..Lets all stick together and carry on fighting.

We are still fighting for our money back despite winning our case nearly 2 years ago. I put a post on recently suggesting we get enough of us on the forum to club together to hire a private investigator to find where the money is hidden, but not had much response. I don't know what the rest of you think but if the money is hidden away, I would like to find it and a PI is the only way I can think of. If we got enough people together, it shouldn't cost us much each. We are prepared to risk £50 to find it if we can get enough people interested. I estimate about 100 of us, so far 5 interested!!!!

If you have been granted a court ruleing in your favour.

Why not ask your solicitor about issueing a winding up petition against Huma, that should bring things out of the woodwork!

I suppose its worth a try, it could force their hand, but there is also a risk that they then go under and where would that leave us all? Dare we risk it? I do still believe that the money is somewhere hidden, so I suppose that it could force them to pay up rather than go bankrupt, as they still appear to want to carry on trading. We will ask our solicitor for advice. What do others think?

Hi All

In the same boat as everyone else, court ruled in our favour but no joy with cash.  Sureley we still have hope if ACC is built as we all have a claim on a property which they cant sell, can they ?    Dont know why solicitors are still taking our money for court cases as many have been fighting for 2 years with no pay out in sight and seemingly no assetts. We would be foolish to be pay out anymore money.

As there is no building going on at OCC and ACC id dead in the water I would like to pose the following question for debate. At least it will give us something to chat about until building starts.

Or hell freezes over.

Anyway the question is this:

Which stands the better chance of  repairing their reputation?

(A) Tiger Woods

(B) Huma ( Either Company)

Please give reasons for your answers.

Hi folks,  I cant believe this but huma ****** have sent me xmas greetings to, and i was lucky enough to srew them , earlier part of this year.  I wish you all the best for 2010 hang in there, a keep fighting, i want to see all of these crooks in the gutter.

I nearly puked when i received the e-mail with the christmas card.   These bas+++ds have some gaul....I'm still trying to get my money back...

Me too. The only good thing about getting one is, they haven't forgot us .So there still might be hope for us all .Pity there wasn't a big fat 35k cheque in there, that would of been the best christmas present ever.I would get the champers out early. Have a good Christmas every one, and don't give up x

OK, can someone please explain why the courts have not now stepped in and FROZEN/SEIZED all of Huma's assets?

humas biggest asset is the millions of euros taken in deposits,  this will be well hidden in a off shore account in a false name.

the other assets a few half built wrecks and a morgaged to the hilt mcc are not worth a toss, the inept courts know this.
