It may have been mentioned before, but could it be worth contacting other large developers such as Desert Springs, Polaris etc. to see if they might be interested in 'buying' our deposits (all of them) from Huma on the agreement that we would all then enter into new and presumably safer contracts to purchase property from them. For their trouble, the value of our deposits may have to be discounted by say 25% for example, in return the developer would receive a large number of customers and deposits.
We, as investors, might be better to accept a lower value for our deposits than to risk loosing all.
My situation by the way is €51,000 with no BG, and not taking to court yet.
I think if this kind of deal was offered with a large number of us involved it might work. I have heard of it working before in Spain.
