New residents

Just wondering have many people moved in or signed for property in SG lately and what you all think of it now.Can you rent golf clubs on the course or need your own

Hi Nailer, welcome to the SG forum.  I'm not at SG but I'm sure thre'll be others with up to date info on the site.  The news of the new bars is great and even though the full facilities may not be materialise on the site, the houses and the location of SG are still very good. 

Hi Nailer, yes you can hire golf clubs on site at the golf hut.

Try Roger, who lives at M15-23, he hires out clubs at a reasonable rate, certainly a lot cheaper than bringing your own in by, say Ryanair. Trolleys can be hired out at the golf hut, 2 euros per round.

We were out over Christmas and on M16 and 3 houses became occupied and directly behind us 1 all moved into. 

On the block of Eagles overlooking the green (sorry dirt track) there was only one unoccupied as of christmas which is good news. Obviously half are holiday homes like ours.

The three families on our block who came over Christmas and new year we believe are all Spanish and the people behind who came and introduced themselves are Danish.

I think you can also hire golf clubs from the golf shop on the industrial estate by the flyover. Where the Indian and chinese restaurants and bowling alley are.

If you are serious and want some for over here then  go to the auto cine boot fairs as there are some reasonable sets to be bought.
