I have received a letter today re ground rent for Jardines.Not to sure where i have to send or transfer payment to.Can anyone who has already done this give me some advice,

Hi Mark,

I am not sure if we have a letter about ground rent but we have received one all written in Spanish that we cant understand. Is that the letter you have ?

I havnt had the time to begin to try to translate it but there is something about 500 odd euros.

I didnt even know we had to pay ground rent I assumed everything was included in the quarterly payments we make.

Can anyone else throw more light on it ?

Was the letter posted to your Spanish or UK address?

We have not received any letter at our UK address and we were only over in Altea 2 weeks ago and at that time had no letter delivered their either.

Has anyone received a quarterly community charge from the administrator for 2009 ? They normally arrive at the start of the quarter but we have received nothing yet.

We did receive a letter in October 2008 stating that we owed 450 euros dating back to February 2008. We had no idea what this was for and despite various e-mails and telephone calls to the administrators office, we have never received a reply or even a reminder about payment. Maybe this is typical of Spanish beauracracy!

I have rang the number and spoken to a guy who speaks good english called Raymon -- on

0034965845781 ---- all we have to do is transfer the funds into the jardines account with apartment number and name.

It was a service charge not ground rent,my letter was in Spanish to,so that was my shot in the dark......and he also mentioned that they were to have a meeting this month to review the amount of the quarterly payment --- could go up,could go down ???  Fingers crossed on that 1.

 How's everything looking out there.Is Marco still working...how's the pool area looking and are there any problems which are different to the initial 1's.Have we now got full access to the gates??

I hear that there is a massive house being built next door  ..... sounds very impressive .... is Roman Abromavich moving in ???

Yes Marcus and Rosa both still there and doing a really good job.

We now have access throught he gates between 8am and 8pm (about that anyway ) and nothing else too spectacular as far as I am aware.

I thought next door was a house and a few apartments but maybe it is all one place !!! As you say who will the new neighbours be if that's the case.

I am rushing off to work but just wanted to reply to your email.

Firstly its lovely to see someone else who is interested in this site and secondly I think you have raised some very very important points.

We were also amazed at how the childrens play area was allowed without a vote from everyone - frankly I was astounded !

Also like you we love Jardines and only wish we could be there more often but I agree that these matters do need sorting out now.
