Access through Gate

Hi All

We believe that we may all shortly receive a remote control to open the gates out onto the road down to the hotel. Has anybody else heard about this?

Hi Nigel and Marianne,

Yes we have heard it from Marcus the caretaker and have been told we will have it on our next trip out this month - fingers crossed as the works traffic was really bad on our last visit and we were often badly held up trying to get to and from Jardines.

Hi Nigel and Marion,
We have more news about the big gates.They can be used by Jardines owners from I think 7 30 am until 8 30 pm Monday to Friday but NOT at weekend !

Thanks for the update. 

We were disappointed to find that we cannot gain access through the gate 24 hours per day. For instance some evenings we have caught a taxi back from Altea and it is easier (and less expensive) to drive up the hill and go through the gates than to drive all the way through the Altea Hills development.

Hi there,

Good news this time - we can use the big gates at the weekend too.The times are from 7am ( I think ) to 8pm.Extended in the summertime to 10pm.

The gardens were loking beautiful and the grass around the pool seems to be thriving !
