Builders electric

Hi all

Does anyone know in BDM if we're still on builders leccy or are we paying for it now?
Anyone who pays leccy already what are the bills like and how often do you get them?

We came off the builders electric a couple of weeks ago.  Not sure however how often the bills come in.

The bills come in every 2 months. You will need to sent up DD's with your bank for this and the water.

The money seems to come out before you even receive your bill !!!

Very difficult to judge how much to estimate for these. Spain still has a standing charge (I think) and then it just depends on how often you are there. A bill we received during a winter period, when we were there for about 10 days was about 40 e. and another during the winter, after a months stay was about 100 e. We do use a lot of heat, I might add!

Be aware that electricity is NOT cheap in Spain!!!!

I have just contacted my lawers and they tell me the electricty bill comes off every two and the water every three months there is also a standing of 20 euros per two months for electricty.

Better get saving. Thanks for that I thought if they had our details they'd just take it they did with the water.
