Hi everybody

I am still trying to work out the best way of furnishing my apartment. Wait until I go out or do some online so its there when I get there!  

I have notice that " Leroy Merlin " keeps popping up, I have tried looking of the internet but my spanish is not good. 

No doubt it is somewhere on this forum but can someone tell me where it is please, am I right that it is like a builders merchants.

It is very simular to B&Q, the one i went to was near Cartagena on a new retail park, pleny of other furniture places there as well including a massive Carrefour.

There is also one near the Real Murcia football stadium - opposite side of the motorway to IKEA and Thader shopping centre.  It is very good for garden furniture etc.

Hi jackie,

Like you I have been looking at various options but have decided to wait until we go out before we purchase.  I don't think the internet can show you true colours and I can't touch which is very important to me.  I have bought all my bedding here in the sales and got some really good bargains.  I am planning on making my own curtains with blackout linnings and taking them over.  I can't even decide on a colour scheme for the lounge so I think it would be better to wait and see what is on offer.

I think your right, I want to be able to see what I'm buying, so reckon go out , order, they can always deliver before the next time you go out!  I too have a bottom drawer for all soft furnishings, couple of the vac bags and whey!  

Took 'my little man' back to vets tonight got all clear!! He's back to his ownself!

Hi Jackie,

Who cares about furniture as long as your wee man is ok.  My eldest, Holly has a  sore ear and it stinks but I still love her to pieces.  Hubby has told me that under no circumstance are we taking the dogs to Condado. I threatened  him with divorce but he wouldn't budge. So no doggy passports.
