Villamartin Hills - Has it been built?

Would like to get information on retirement villages in Spain. Has Villamartin Hills actually been built?

Retirement Villages in Spain
24 February 2012 @ 19:41

We are interested in discovering just what choice of retirement complexes there are in Spain, as this seems an ideal way to retire to Spain, and still receive any help one needs as one gets older.

Read about Villamartin Hills, near San Miguel de Salinas which sounds great but cannot discover if it has actually been built?

Can anyone advise on this please?

Does anyone know of and recommend any other retirement villages around?

I think I read somewhere that you put down a large chunk of money and the apartment is then made available, on a sort of rented basis.
Whether is is then to be built or actually exits, I am not sure?
I too, would like to find some retirement complexes, but without the word "hills" in the title!!

Thank you for your comments. We initially thought not having to worry about Capital Gains Tax etc and getting your money back within 40 days rather than the worry over months of attempted sales sounded good, but if the property is held for say 20 years then they are going to make an awful lot of money!
We are going to look for retirement complexes elsewhere therefore.

My husband and I have been retired near to Figueres (Costa Brava) for 10 years, and love the area. We are trying to find retirement communities in this area, but so far without success. Has anyone any ideas?

In answer to ROB.

I passed by just yesterday the development you have mentioned situated in Eagle's Nest area. The retirement village being built for over 55's named VILLAMARTIN HILLS.. has the shell built. At the end of this first building ...appears to be perhaps a show apartment.
Nothing has moved for a very long time, it came to a standstill.
The owner/managing director of the trade name SITARA has an office in the heart of the village of SAN MIGUEL DE SALINAS. Mr Naresh Bhundia has been a successful businessman for almost 25 years in this surrounding area. He has other projects in hand, at present.
I can give you details which may assist you to gain further information on the Villamartin HIlls development.[It sits on flat hill around.]
Sitara tel; 00 34 966 723 437

Thank you all for your comments. We are coming out shortly so will have a good look around. Don't think Villamartin Hills is going to be a sensible option even if it does ever get built, but we like the area!

Hello, my father lost £10,000 in Villa Martin. Naresh Bhundi is now running a successful solar panel business in Bulgaria. Does anyone else have information about money owed to them by Naresh.

Watch out for Naresh Bhundi, he has done quit a few people out of money.
