Spanish rescue dogs needing homes, having been in care over a year

12TH DECEMBER: WONDERFUL NEWS ..VALERA HAS A HOME.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS VALERA

Valera is an old lady of 8-9 years, she has been a long time in Benidorm shelter, almost all her life.   Someone must be in love with her, look at her sad eyes.

She has a hernia but the vet considers she is too old to have it operated on & so it will be left.

She is good with other dogs, see video.

Every night she sleeps on a cold concrete floor. She has never had a warm bed or cosy fire to sit next to ... no one to love her, to cuddle her. Yet here she proudly sits just waiting or some special person to come along & love her. Could YOU be that special person?

Another lovely boy for you all.... BUDDY!! He was found in a local village after being hit by a car, with a broken pelvis in 3 places... all that is now in the past and he is fighting fit!!

Approx 2 and half years old, calm and quiet, good on the lead and with other cats and dogs, he's a very well behaved boy! Castrated, vaccinated, passport and ready to go... come on guys, this boy is a beauty too!!

Now just look at this boy... what a sweetie he is... this is CASPER, he was found (or dumped) outside the paddock gates late one night a few weeks ago, he´s approx 9months old, castrated and fully vaccinated.. he´s just love a nice family to make his life complete! I know he hasn't been in care at least a year but he is sharing Buddy's blog post.

Can anyone offer this lovely boy a home? He´s great with other dogs and can travel anywhere....

ANDREAS ANIMAL RESCUE & THE HENRIETTA FOUNDATION, MURCIA

Bella was born May 2011 and has been in foster care her whole life. The latest foster home has had her - for San Animal Santuario - since November 2011.

She is a lovely friendly little girl, she is a quick learner and is always off looking for her next adventure. She is used to living with dogs larger and smaller than herself and, as long as they are happy to join in a game of chase, she loves to play with them. She has met cats and shown no interest in them.

She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her jabs. She weighs approx 20 kilos and stands about 20 inches to shoulder. She is currently on the Murcia/Almeria border near Puerto Lumbreras.

RAY WAS REHOMED TODAY, 28TH OCTOBER 2012

This is beautiful Ray. He is a wonderful, kind 10 year old cocker spaniel who has been in a refuge since July 2011. When he arrived he was in a very poor condition, having seemingly been run over.
 

Thanks to the wonderful care and treatment at Albergue Animales Alicante, which is between Elche & Alicante, Costa Blanca, he is now fully recovered.
 

But he always gets passed over when visitors come because he is old.
He is the kindest most gentle old man, who SO needs a lovely warm bed and someone who will love him for the years he has left.
 

Could YOU be that someone?? 
 

Don't let him end his days in the rescue.

Bruce Lee is a German Shepherd X. Bruce Lee has Lieshmaniasis and is on medication, Unsure of his history he arrived with us via the Guardia Civil and suspect abuse from an early age, he will need a lot of patience as he is very shy and nervous. Paco, male, Pointer X, D.O.B 01/07/2003, neutered. Paco has been at The Dog House since August 2003. He was found in an irrigation channel in a field. He arrived with Parvo Virus but, with a lot of care and medical treatment, he survived.

Sally, female, small mixed breed. D.O.B 01/09/2010. Found under bins at local cemetery with 4 siblings, 2 died, the other 2 re-homed but sadly little Sally still waiting.
