Spanish animals that need help

All the time I hear about Spanish animals that need help one way or another so this is for those animals

Will YOU adopt Cacao? Read his story PLEASE!
Sunday, March 30, 2014

Cacao was rescued from the streets of Spain where he was living rough. He was fostered, vaccinated etc then adopted by Gwennie in South Yorkshire who paid for everything and was involved from day one, she is totally committed to him.

Cacao is fully vaccinated, including kennel cough, he is up to date with worming and flea prevention too. He weighs approx. 12Kg and is 17 inches tall. He is very chilled (except with cats so would need a home without any cats), he's aged about 5 years now and is castrated. He's wonderful with children and with other dogs in the home. Likes - his food (!), treats, long walks, playing with other dogs. The only thing he dislikes is cats.

Gwennie DID ask about him being okay with cats and was told that he was .. that he played with cats in the street etc... but for whatever reason, he is definitely not okay with hers.

This gorgeous dog was adopted from Spain a few months ago but sadly he just has not settled with his adopter´s cats. Gwennie is heart broken but, for her own sanity and safety of her cats, she HAS to rehome him. She has taken advice and tried everything but nothing improves the situation with her cats.

The best thing would be a home in the UK but if someone in Spain wants him then Gwennie will pay his transport costs. You cannot say fairer than that - he is a calm chilled character, good with children, other dogs etc etc just not with cats.

It's tragic it has not worked out.
