LIBBY & LUKE

These puppies were about 4 weeks old when my friend, Angie Mccready, took them & their siblings into her care.

They all came from a very bad situation. They were found underneath a pile of cardboard, discarded by their cruel owners, left to die but were rescued by ACTIN-SPAIN, Cartagena. http://www.actin-spain.com

They stayed with Angie until they were about 3 months old then went onto another fosterer whilst Angie looked after other tiny pups that needed a lot of care. The fosterer couldnt keep them for long, it meant them going into a kennel, so Angie offered to have them back.

They are now around 4 months old. Both have been spayed/castrated. They are vaccinated plus have passports, all ready for a new life. Libby has been diagnosed with Leish but it can be controlled by daily tablet cheaply.

They are so funny & loving & are never apart. They deserve a loving home .. with luck ..together.

FOUND: MISSING SINCE 23RD DECEMBER: A female Scottish terrier called Ginger, on the cliffs of La Cala Finestrat (Alicante)
Saturday, January 4, 2014

  9th January.

It is a very sad day today for Ginger's owners.

This is their statement on Facebook.

"Dear, dear Ginger,

As happy as you always were, to sprint after a butterfly, the shadow of something trying to tackle, so you also suddenly disappeared from our lives ...
The people who have known you were all in love with you, your character was super, your beautiful little head was doing the people's hearts melt ....

This morning we received the horrible news that you have fallen into the sea , and that you have been found on the 24th of December on the beach of Benidorm....

I cannot describe the sorrow we feel now ....
Dear dear Ginger, life has lost his shine.
R.I.P.

Iwan, Coby en Debbie"

A New Day Spain (dog refuge) needs URGENT HELP
Friday, January 3, 2014

A New Day Spain is a non-profit dog refuge in Pedrera, Spain.
Their aim is to provide food, shelter, health care, and ultimately, a new home for all the dogs in their refuge.
They are a non-profit making refuge for stray and abandoned dogs in Spain. They typically have between 80/90 dogs in their care. Their sole source of funding at the present moment is from their personal income and the money that they raise at a local market once a week.

HELP URGENTLY NEEDED FOR MARIA AND KEITH

FROM MARIA "OK, don't really know how to start this, so am just going to plough in. Keith, my husband and partner in all the work we do with the dogs was today admitted to hospital after being very unwell for 3 days. A blood clot has been found in his head, which is currently being treated. For the last 3 days, and now today I have been trying to cope with more than 90 dogs plus a sick husband, and I guess there are a lot more days like then coming my way.

This is a desperate plea to anyone who can help by fostering a dog, any refuge or organisation who can take a couple off my hands. Anyone with a large garden who could look after one of the bigger dogs. I can provide food and a kennel, they live outside anyway. I just need to reduce our numbers so that I can properly look after both the loves in my life, Keith and the dogs.

Please, please share this everywhere, I desperately need help. Thanks From Maria"
