Iberia five-day strike will ground 1,220 planes

IBERIA airline staff will commence a five-day strike today (Monday) morning, the longest in the history of the company, after negotiation efforts between workers and bosses failed. Both ground staff and cabin crew will join the strike, which will continue until and including Friday, February 22 and which is the first of a series of five-day pickets announced by employees.
