Restaurant worker in custody for allegedly poisoning 14 colleagues

A KITCHEN assistant and waiter has been arrested on suspicion of trying to poison his 14 work colleagues and possibly his late boss. The 55-year-old has worked at the pictured restaurant in Gijón (Asturias) since early 2005, and came under suspicion when fellow employees noticed he and his partner were the only ones who were not suffering unpleasant symptoms that included fever, sweating, splitting headaches and a very fast heartbeat.
