Living with the Presidente.

A tongue in cheek account of living with the Presidente, OR how to survive and extended 'family' of 183.

Infected Palms.
18 September 2010 @ 20:21

Sad day today cos El Presidente has had to have 5 of our glorious palms dug out.

And we cannot replace them for about 6 months to give the ground time to recover.

We had the same problem caused by those pesky bugs. Is that what caused yours to die?

We had to dug out our canarian palm tree to, I think it
was the red palm weevil, because we saw a few in our
garden and a few landed in our swimming pool, so we
killed them. Does any one know if they attack other palm trees
then the canarian palm, because we still have two
palmitos, and one of them is not doing well
