It is a very interesting picture - whereabouts is this property? (There is some writing underneath this picture - but I can't read it!) It seems to be a good place to stay - as long as you don't suffer from vertigo!!!

Hello, abbbb1: Thanks for your comment.Of course, it is a nice picture and I recommend you to go to the town where that house is; it is Cuenca (one of the nicer towns in Spain --although I have never been there, but I know that it is a wonder--).Cuenca is 167 Kms from the south-east of Madrid, and it is known, above all, cause of its "Hanging houses".Also, in Cuenca, was born Jose Luis Perales (a very famous singer and composer in Spain).

There are many parts of Spain that I would like to visit, and it's great being able to visit them through your pictures.
I haven't heard of Jose Luis Perales - although my Spanish penfriend has started to "educate" me with regards to Spanish singers! The song that I was listening to today was"Un beso y una flora" by Nino Bravo - who unfortunately died many years ago.

Hi, abbbb1, again: the song, by Nino Bravo, is "Un beso y una flor", not "......flora".FLORA is a collection of flowers and plants, in Nature. In Spanish language, we say: "Flora and fauna".

Hi Luis
Yes, "Flora" means the same in English as it does in Spanish - it's just that I'm so used to putting an "a" at the end of all words which use "una"!!!! And we also say "Flora and Fauna" in English!
Hi Mercedes
Yes, should love to travel around Spain and see more of the country. At the moment I've too nervous about driving on the right hand side of the road. Not sure that my poor old brain could cope! So have to rely on my husband.
