Private vehicles who take passengers to Alicante airport will be able to park for 15 minutes for free from July
Aena are building a new parking "express terminal facing the departures terminal of El Altet which in turn will hopefully speed up the movement of unaccompanied and accompanied passengers arriving at the airport to catch a flight.
Currently, the regulated area has become a shambles because nobody respects the prohibition to park with a maximum of five minutes.
The start of work is imminent. The works will be carried out in the driveway area farthest from the main sidewalk cafe where smoking are also located. There will be two accesses that will alternate to always keep one open.
Five million people a year pass through the area of access to terminals prior to boarding a flight .
