As you might of already heard that Spain is under attack by home intrusions, and the Police have very little leads as to those resposible. If you are ever confronted by a home intruder you are only allowed to call the Police you cannot make a citizens arrest here ,as you will be charged and sentenced. Even an intruder or thief here is allowed to break in without ever having to worry about the consequences. So if your a criminal Spain is a wonderful place to be. Maybe you can team up with local thugs for smashing good time or just go on the war path. You need not to worry as nothing will happen. Honest people beware as you  might find the situation difficult to come to terms with. There are alot of places to retire or live it up in this world ,Spain used to be one of those places but its losing ground due to the current facist lying sack of shit government.

Hi Magnus. Sorry you've been having such a dreadful time. It's a terrible thing when you don't get justice and it leaves you feeling very angry. I know what you mean about the police. My husband has just come back from our place in Spain and, as usual, the Guardia Civil are parked all morning on the same roundabout, stopping everyone they can and checking every tiny technicality so that they can frogmarch them to the nearest bank, get 100-500 euros off each one, which will then ensure they get their salary at the end of every month (any drug smugglers just have to wait until 2pm and then they can travel the roads safe in the knowledge there will be no police about). With resources being used in this way, where is the effective police force? Who is going to come and help you, when all they're interested in is revenue collection? It's a shame and a disgrace. Coupled with the dreadful corruption at all levels of Spanish society, it is a very depressing picture. Chin up though and put your best foot forward, because it feels like there's a rocky road ahead.
