Legal tip 655. Banks do think they rule
15 December 2011 @ 07:39

This is maybe what we have allowed them to believe: citizens and politicians. This is maybe the root of the difficult situation we are in the world right now: Banks think they rule.

I experience this in our daily activities as lawyers deffending people´s rights.

I received an email yesterday from a client who was forwarding to me the email that the Bank manager has issued to her after receiving a dation letter. It was interesting that he said categorically: " this is not how this needs to be done"

We are just following the rules of our Civil Code, Mr Bank, I would answer to him. You are under these too. Did you know?Rule of Law: a great achievement of humankind :)

Cheers!

That is exactly what I have been saying for a long time.
The banks have become too strong and GREEDY and have behaved as though they are a law unto themselves.

Even political decisions have been swayed by the Bankers influence.
You do right to remind them just who they are and what they are there for.
Well said Maria.
