A report to the Ministry of Justice
Tuesday, September 2, 2008 @ 11:23 PM

Ok. Now...

After all those commentaries you have made below on the lack of trust in spanish  system, spanish law and spanish lawyers.

I am ready to start preparing a  report to be brought to the Law Society and
Ministry of Justice regarding  those bad pratices and misrepresentation you talk about.

I  need you to get involved. Those of you who were misrepresented by lawyers please contact us so we can send to you a survey and a document for you to fill in and send back to us with your signature. Of course we will keep the confidentiality on your names and on names of those lawyers.

We will bring it first  to Provintial  Bar Associations  and National Council of Lawyers with jurisdiction and  then to the Ministry of Justice.

But... you need to get involved....as....

in the past, every time I have asked you to get involved in an initiative like that , I was very surprised that .....very few of you reactioned and contacted us.

I hope to have at least 150 testimonials so we can make a serious compilation of experiences to conclude a comprehensive analysis so we can ask for some changes.

I am getting a  very bad name among some of my colleagues, but they are precisely those whose opinion count nothing for me.

Please email us to web   at      costaluzlawyers.es   with the subject: Law Society, so we can send to you these papers.

Wait for you there,

Maria

Look at yourself too. Quietness is deafening at times.

Thanks Chrissie. I completely agree with you. We need to look at ourselves first always.

Maria,

You seemed to have changed the blog as you mentioned this morning your good connections to the ´Ministry of Justice´, who is a personal friend of the cousin of your husband. I think this would be very helpful in your quest to blacklist all those hundreds of lawyers...

Regards

Antonio, my dear colleague....you know what??... I removed that sentence from my blog because I am completely sure that the Ministry of Justice will act exactly same way regardless he is or not a friend of my cousin in Law.

We are in a democratic counrty and the claim of dozens of british will suffice for sure. Do not you think so?

It is good that he is a friend of a relative though!

By the way Antonio... you seem to be very interested in our blog. How do you like it?

I hope it will be not for illustrating the bad press about us that you give to some of the clients that used to be yours and came to us. I am doing nothing regarding that, even when it is very sad, as we prefer to concentrate energies on helping our clients.

I do hope to meet you personally anytime soon and have a face to face chat on our impressions and ideas for the future so we can keep having this people enjoying our country.

If that would become necessary for the best interests of our clients ( I need to serve their interests first) and respecting our deonthological code, I would be open to somehow unite independent forces with you Antonio. I truly think you must be a very good and sharp lawyer.

I think you should receive a medal....my personal experience of Spain and Spanish solicitors could be interpretted best if I wrote a book on 'how/who not to use'.

I have used several solicitors, not one has done a thorough job to date, many have made mistakes that a pure negligance.

I will gladly provide a list of solicitors and the 'messes' many have got me into......I am now almost destitute due to these 'professional' solicitors!
